FROGMORE STEW

Ingredients

      Beer 1 Can

      Lemon 1 Med

      Small Red Potatoes 1 or 2 / person

      Small Onions 1 / person

      Sausage (Keilbasa or Smoked) ¼ lb / person Use either or combination

      Corn 1 – 1 ½ ears / person Cut in half or thirds

      Shrimp ½ lb / person Leave shells on

      Old Bay Seasoning ( 1 bag per 5 people)

      Crab Legs (Optional)

      Crawdads (Optional)

       

Directions

      In large pot, 20 gal or more, turkey fryer works, fill halfway with water and bring to a boil

      Add Lemon after cutting into 4-6 pieces

      Add Old Bay Seasoning ( If desired )

      Add potatoes

      After 5 min, add onions

      After 10 min, add sausage

      After 5 min, add corn & Can of beer

      After 5 min, add seafood

      After 5 min, you are done, should almost be back to a boil, may take a little more than 5 min

      Drain off water, dump contents onto table covered in several layers of newspaper

      Let everyone dig in and help themselves.

    Provide paper plates (Good heavy duty ones), hot sauce, cocktail sauce, nut crackers and plenty of napkins!
